the Internet or Intranet and remotely manage your mix designs with
QC-Link and Mix Manager.

two stand-alone optional programs are MPAQ companion products
to the TouchBatch Ready Mix system.
While QC-Link gives you remote access to your plants, Mix Manager
lets you manage your mix designs efficiently.

QC-Link and
Mix Manager work in the background without interfering with batching
or inconveniencing the operator. As long as you have a network
connection with your plants you can access the plant batch computer
from anywhere and at any time.
You can also connect to two or more plants at the
same time and compare their data side-by-side to identify potential
problems
and perform all related Q/C tasks from a central location.
In addition, QC-Link gives you the peace of mind of being able
to password-protect
your mix design database without fear of hampering your operation.
When changes are needed, authorized personnel can always access
the mix designs remotely and with a network connection they
can
do so from any location.
The QC-Link connection is lightning fast through
a DSL or intranet connection, but it is worth noting that it also
works well
through a telephone modem, since only small amounts of data
go through
the link.
While
connecting to batch computers from your office is nothing new
(We were the first concrete batch computer company
to offer this important feature as far back as 1989!), what
is new is
the client-server technology in the TouchBatch Ready Mix
system that
allows you to work on your data in the background even
